Who we are

Metro SI is a strategy studio based in Chicago. This policy applies to metrosi.org and to email sent to any @metrosi.org address. Please direct questions to [email protected].

What this site collects

The site has no accounts, forms, cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. It stores two settings in your browser’s local storage, and neither ever leaves your device:

• msi:in records that you answered the welcome question, so you are not asked again.
• msi:still records whether you chose to pause motion.

Clear your browser’s data for metrosi.org to remove both.

Services that deliver the site

Cloudflare hosts and protects the site. Like any web host, it processes standard request information, such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver pages and block abuse.

Our typefaces load from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address and browser information when the fonts are requested.

When you email us

Email sent to an @metrosi.org address is forwarded by Cloudflare Email Routing to our team inbox, hosted by Google. We use what you send to respond and to follow up on your request. If you ask us to delete your messages, we will, unless we must retain them for legal or accounting reasons.

Texts and calls

We text or call people only with their prior written consent. Anyone we pay to make introductions discloses that arrangement. You may withdraw consent at any time by telling us, and we will stop.

Selling and sharing

We never sell personal data or share it for advertising. We share it only with the service providers named in this policy, which help us run our business, or when the law requires it.

Your choices

Write to [email protected] to ask what information we hold about you or to have it corrected or deleted. We will respond, and we will not treat you differently for asking.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
